Yrjö Kukkapuro
When Yrjö Kukkapuro designed his studio 1968, the architecture, material and details were all very experimental and modern.
The vaulted ceiling was in cast concrete and due to this, didn’t allow for any straight hanging ceiling fixtures.
Thus, the luminaire series 100 was born out of own needs.
YK100 B1 is the table luminaire of the family with a freestanding base, with the possibility of using it together with stands used througout the rest of the series.
