Today BLOND is one of the few companies, in the lighting business, which still manufactures and market only their own products.
In an age where most companies have chosen to put their manufacturing either abroad or to produce their products several miles away from their office, we have kept true to our manufacturing heritage.
BLOND manufactures the products in Värnamo, Sweden and uses environmental friendly methods in all the stages of the production.
By carrying out the manufacturing process under our own roof we don´t contribute to pollution in form of transportation, and at the same time we can keep a high quality of our products.
Making sure we always work with the latest lighting technology, we ensure our customers that our products are always supplied with the most energy efficient solution.
Our products are applicable with intelligent controls, for example motion- and daylight sensors, in order to provide a lighting environment which influences our earth to a minimum extent.
Our work with sustainability as a continual process is a natural part of our everyday work. Demonstrating our commitment to Corporate Responsibility is crucial if we are to continue being well positioned and to take advantage of opportunities in the demanding and growing lighting market.
BLOND is connected to “El-Kretsen”, thus fulfilling the obligations regarding the producer responsibility act for electrical waste.
We are also part of the “Reparegistret” and therefore comply with the WEEE and Packaging Directives.
BLOND products comply with Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS Directives.

We respect the privacy rights of our online visitors and recognize the importance of protecting your personal information.
We will not sell your information to third parties.
We will ensure that your personal data is stored in a secure and confidential manner.
At any time You may request correction / deletion or access to your information.
BLOND collects personal information in several ways if a request is placed or if a registration is made for one of the services offered by BLOND.
When registrating, the collection of personal data is consented.
If an order or request is placed with us, we need to hold personal information including your name, email address, phone numbers, company address and shipping adress to fulfill the request.
We may also obtain information as a result of authentication or identity checks as well as ask for your telephone number. The telephone number may be given to our courier for delivery services.
These details allow us to process your request and to let you know the status of your request.
If registrating for our e-mail newsletter, we will send out information such as new / updated products, invitations to events or fairs, general company or market information regarding BLOND.
If information is handed over during events or fairs, such as business cards or e-mail adresses, we will by consent make a contact afterwards for follow up.
By third party platforms, such as Architonic for instance, we have varied and limited access to personal data.
Terms of delivery and complaints.
When you receive a delivery from us, it is important that you check the goods before you sign the consignment note. If you sign the consignment note without adding any comments, you will not subsequently be able to claim for any damaged or missing goods.

Terms of delivery may vary between different countries. Contact our distributor/agent for details.
Insurance
All transport is at buyer’s risk. Should transport damage occur, the buyer must immediately report this to the transport company. Otherwise ordinary terms of delivery apply in accordance with ALEM09.
ALEM09
ALEM09 applies unless otherwise agreed.
General terms of delivery relating to electrical materials for delivery and use in Sweden, prepared by EIO - Swedish Electricians' Organisation and SEG - Swedish Electrical Wholesalers.
Warranty terms
5 year product warranty, 5 year warranty on electronic drivers, from date of delivery.
Complaints and returns
With both returns and complaints you must always contact the distributor/agent of your country before sending items to us. On contact with us, you will receive a return number which you must use to mark the package.
Returns
Only returns due to faults or other causes for which BLOND has been responsible will be approved without additional cost to the buyer. In the case of returns for a cause other than the above, the buyer will be credited with the net invoice value with a deduction which, for items normally kept in stock, is 30%. In the case of returns due to causes other than the above and for items not normally kept in stock, BLOND BELYSNING reserves the right to unilaterally determine the percentage rate for any credit.
In order for returns to be approved by BLOND, the goods shall be returned in unused, new condition, with all relevant parts, in the original packaging, and shall be received by BLOND within a period of two (2) months from the delivery date.
Goods which are not returned and received by BLOND BELYSNING within a period of two (2) months from the delivery date will not be accepted as returns.
In the case of returns as described above, the buyer must provide the number and date of the seller’s invoice and/or delivery note for the relevant goods. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and for risks to the returned goods until BLOND BELYSNING has confirmed receipt of the returned goods in writing. BLOND will issue a return note.
Returns of products not included in the current price list will not be credited.
Custom made, or customized, products will not be credited.
Cancellations
Cancelation of orders older then 1 week from confirmation date will not be accepted. A minimum of 30% of the order value will be charged by late cancellation. Custom made products can not be cancelled.
Complaints
In case of complaint you may use the standard form from ALEM.
Contact your sales contact as soon as you experience a problem with any of our products. This is to enable us to make a quicker decision on what action is needed to remedy your problem If you are a private individual and wish to complain about an item, you must always refer to the place of purchase which will then arrange contact with us.
Declaration of Conformity
Luminaires and CE-marking
All BLOND luminaires are tested regarding safety before deliverance. The tests are performed according to applicable European safety standard, normally the EN60598-1 with additional sections.
The EMC-status, emission and immunity, is checked according to EN55015 and EN61547.
Each luminaire is in production checked individually and records of the test are kept in a database.
The check is performed according to Cenelec regulations. Compliance according to ErP and RoHS directives is checked.
The above mentioned tests and documentations are used as the basis for the CE-marking according to directives 93/68/EC , 2004/108/EC, 2006/95/EC, 2009/125/EC and 2011/65/
