Erik Gunnar Asplund

GA344, a family consisting of pole- and wall luminaires, is strict in the appearance: A spun shade with clean and straight lines attached to a bent arm.

Initially designed for an omni-directional light source, where the inside of the shade functioned as a reflector and to provide a glare-free light against the night sky, the family is now equipped with a high efficient LED light source combined with an integrated reflector. In order not to evade from Gunnar Asplunds thought of a glare-free light, the light source is placed high up in the shade and allowed to spill a little light onto the bottom of the shade.

The pole, designed by Gunnar Asplund, has a standard height but can be customized by request.
